Space Exploration Rocket Camp

SPACE EXPLORATION ROCKET CAMP

For children who have completed grades 6-12

Blast off to a whole new level with rockets as we learn about space missions and astronauts, explore the history of space flight and build and launch a rocket - twice! Boy Scouts working on the Space Exploration Merit Badge: participants in this camp will complete requirements 1 -4.  All other requirements must be completed independently before or after camp. 

Family members are encouraged to attend the final rocket launch at 4:00 p.m.

9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Fee: $60/child

Instructor: Planetarium Staff

Applies to all rocket camps: All participants launching rockets must be registered camp participants. Model Rocketry is otherwise not permitted on Cleveland Metroparks grounds. Due to the technical nature of the writing, diagrams and instructions and the use of fine motor skills, please follow the recommended grade and skill levels.
