Perseid Meteor Shower Night

For adults and children ages 6 and up

Enjoy an engaging planetarium presentation and learn all about the wonders of meteor showers. Afterward, spread out your blankets and enjoy the sky show in Huntington Reservation. Weather permitting, telescope viewing will be available through the Center’s 8-inch Schmidt Cassegrain telescope. 

Doors open at 7:15 p.m. Planetarium presentations are 30 minutes and begin at the following times: 7:30 p.m., 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. (first come, first served). Masks are recommended indoors for all visitors.

Indoor and outdoor exhibits will be available to enjoy throughout the evening. All are welcome to observe the meteor shower and access the Center’s telescopes in the field across from Lake Erie Nature & Science Center (near Wolf Picnic Area).
